Class LEDWWE1 Nine Patch Blocks - More Than Meets the Eye! 1 day  $135   Tutor Lynne Edwards  Kitset: None   Skill Level All levels Skills required:  students need to be able to use a sewing machine for simple straight stitching with a 1/4" seam and to use rotary cutting equipment. Students' needs list: Fabric Just bring along a collection of fabrics you will enjoy using together in blocks as we will be making several sample blocks using different techniques. The main technique uses specifically 4 fabrics that look good together to include a dark, a medium, a light and a bright fabric so bring a fat quarter of each of these (or more if you want the option of developing it into a larger design Other Requirements Neutral sewing thread for the machine (darker than the chosen group of fabrics). Pins Scissors (fabric cutting) Sharp pencil Rotary cutter Rotary cutting mat Ruler for use with rotary cutter - if you have a square ruler as well as the normal long ruler, do bring it, especially if you have one 12" square or bigger.  Sewing machine with instruction book, all cords and with 1/4" foot.
