Class LEDWMO1 Patchwork in Perspective 1 day   $135  Tutor Lynne Edwards  Kitset: None   Skill Level Intermediate and advanced Skills required:  students need to be able to use a sewing machine for accurate straight stitching and to use rotary cutting equipment.  They do not need advanced maths and technical drawing skills - honestly! Needs list: Fabric:  Three fabrics to use in the design -  1/2 metre of background fabric 1 fat quarter of each of 2 fabrics to be used as the perspective stars.   More fabric will be needed if the student wishes to expand the design into a larger piece later. Other Requiements Neutral sewing thread for the machine (darker than the chosen group of fabrics). Pins Scissors (fabric cutting) Scissors (paper cutting) Sharp pencil Coloured pencil (red or any other strong colour) Eraser 12" school type ruler (a longer 18" version would be even better, but this is not critical). Rotary cutter Rotary cutting mat Ruler for use with rotary cutter Sewing machine with 1/4" foot - an open foot is need for piecing so that you can see ahead easily. Graph paper will be provided by the tutor.
