Class IBERSA1 Small Velvet Landscape Bag 1 day $135  Tutor Ineke Berlyn  Kitset: $25.00   Skill Level Intermediate/Advanced but students need to be familiar with free machine stitching and working with Bondaweb/Wonderunder Needs list:  A4 + ¼ " seam allowance all around - piece of velvet or felt, A4 + ¼ " seam allowance all around - piece of thin iron-on interfacing A4 + ¼"  seam allowance all around - piece of organza A4 + ¼ " seam allowance all around - piece of satin for lining A4 sheet of Bondaweb or similar Thin gold/silver cord or embroidery silk Gold/silver and black or dark threads to machine stitch and make tassle. Scraps of brightly coloured silk, velvet, Printers Foils, sweet or chocolate wrappers (the ones that won't melt when you iron them - Ferrero Rocher are good) Metal ring punch set for threading cord through(silver or gold) can be done after class. Sewing machine, extensions cable, walking and embroidery feet; check that your machine stitches OK with metallic threads. Based on a picture of student's own landscape inspiration we will design and make a jewel like bag using bright bits out of your scrap bags, printers foils, chocolate wrappers etc. cover it with a piece of coloured organza and add lots of free machining with metallic threads. Patterns and instruction on how to finish are supplied.
